"I have commanded you to bring up your children in light and truth." -Doctrine and Covenants 93:40

On Sunday I did a sharing time in primary about superheroes and how Jesus is the only real superhero. On the way home from church, Makai said "Mommy, I didn't know that Jesus was a superhero." I explained to him that Jesus isn't like Superman or Spiderman, but that He is a superhero. He then told me that he wanted to be just like Jesus.

Yesterday, I caught Makai and Kalea playing "missionary." They had gone into Kalea's room and gotten two of their religious picture books, one about Jesus and the other about Joseph Smith. They then proceeded to our formal living room and sat on the couch. Makai was holding his book and showing it to Kalea and teaching her about Jesus. He said that Jesus loves us and can help us do anything, that he can even help us find our toys if we loose them.

Today, as we were driving in the car, Kalea asked, "How do we get to Jesus?" I told her we have to choose the right every day and try to be good. She said, "I want to do that, Mommy."

I am so thankful for my wonderful children. I am humbled by their pure desires to be good. I am so thankful that Christ has restored His gospel so that I can strive to lead my children back to Him.
