ys, I have felt the love of my Heavenly Father through the love of my tiny son, Sione. Since his birth, I've always been aware of his sweet, calming, and peaceful spirit and this week he has helped me in ways that I don't think he will ever realize. How can I tell a baby that his sweet smile and cooing is what got me through the day? Or that the only peace I felt all day was felt when he snuggled up under my chin and just laid with me? How can I explain to him that his laughter lifted my heart out of a dark and empty place or that the gentle grabbing o
f my face filled me with hope and love? My love and appreciation for Sione has grown tremendously and I am again awed by my Father in Heaven's knowledge of my heart. He knows me and knows what I need and what will help me when even I don't know. Thank you Sione for the tender and innocent love that only you could give and thank you to a Father who knows His daughter and sends help through small and simple means.

Gosh, that kid is cute! I am so glad Sione is so good and cute for you.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Makai and Kalea gave him all of their cuteness. He looks so big, makes me sad that I cannot be there to hold him. Hope to see you in December!
